Data Deletion
Effective date: 2026-08-30
Nerdis ("the site") has no user registration and does not directly collect personal identifiers such as your name or email. This page explains what data may exist as a result of using the site, and how to delete it yourself or request its deletion. For our overall privacy practices, see the Privacy Policy.
1. Data that may exist
- Access logs: IP address, browser and device information, and access times recorded automatically by the server
- Cookies and advertising identifiers: stored in your browser (device) and by ad providers such as Google
- Email inquiries: your email address and message if you have contacted us by email
- Social media interactions: comments, mentions, or messages left on the site's official social accounts (such as Threads) — stored on those platforms
2. Data you can delete yourself
- Cookies: delete or block this site's cookies in your browser settings.
- Personalized ad data: manage or turn off ad personalization in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party ad cookies at www.aboutads.info.
- Social media interactions: delete comments or mentions directly on the platform (Threads, Instagram, etc.) or manage them in your account settings there.
3. How to request deletion
To request deletion of data held by the site (such as access logs or email inquiry records), email ethan@xpath.co.kr with the subject "Data deletion request". Requests are handled as follows:
- Including the minimum information needed to verify you and identify the data (e.g. the email address you used to contact us, or the approximate time of access) speeds up processing.
- After verification, we delete the data without undue delay — at the latest within 30 days — and confirm the result to you.
- Data we are legally required to retain is destroyed after the required retention period; in that case we will explain the reason and the period.
- Information you provide for a deletion request is used only to process that request and is destroyed afterwards.
4. Data held by third-party services
Data collected and stored independently by external services such as Google (AdSense) and Meta (Threads) can be deleted through each provider's own policies and procedures. The site has no direct access to, or authority to delete, that data.
- Google: Google account data & privacy
- Meta (Threads / Instagram): Meta Privacy Center
5. Contact
For questions about data deletion, contact ethan@xpath.co.kr and we will respond without undue delay after review.
